Overview
High-incline belt conveyors are mainly used for conveying bulk materials at a large incline or vertical 90° angle, solving the problem of conveying angles that ordinary and chevron belt conveyors cannot reach. A high-incline belt conveyor is constructed by attaching freely expandable rubber corrugated vertical "skirts" to both sides of a flat rubber conveyor belt, and between the skirts, transverse partitions with certain strength and elasticity are attached to form box-shaped buckets, which can prevent material spillage.
Maximum Incline Angle of High-Incline Belt Conveyor:
The conveying angle of high-incline belt conveyors ranges from 0° to 90°, which solves the conveying height that ordinary belt conveyors cannot reach, saves floor space, and reduces equipment investment and civil engineering costs.For example, if a user wants to lift coal to the top of a 20m-high silo, using a sidewall conveyor (a type of high-incline belt conveyor) for conveying at a 45° incline, the length of the conveyor is only 28.3m (with a horizontal length of 20m); if a sidewall conveyor for vertical conveying is used, the horizontal length can be controlled within 6m.
